Lemongrass Ginger Baked Bone In Pork Chops

Ingredients

The marinade

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground lemongrass
  • to taste none pepper

The pork chops

  • 1 lb bone-in pork chops
  • 1.5 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, and lemongrass in a bowl, reserving 2 tablespoons of the marinade.
  2. Coat the pork chops in the marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium/high heat.
  5. Sear each side of the pork chops for about 1.5 minutes.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145ºF.
  7. Remove from the oven, brush with reserved marinade, and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
