Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour blend
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, etc.)
  • 1 ½ cups plain yogurt (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons grass-fed butter (melted and cooled slightly)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron to medium-high.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, yogurt, eggs, and melted butter. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  4. Scoop the batter onto the heated waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
  5. Waffles may be made ahead and frozen.
