Ingredients

The marinade

  • 2 cups DeLallo balsamic vinegar
  • ΒΌ cup honey
  • kosher salt to taste
  • freshly-ground black pepper to taste

The chicken skewers

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Whisk together balsamic vinegar and honey to create the marinade, then combine with chicken in a ziplock bag or bowl and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and remove chicken from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
  4. Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. In a saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until thickened.
  7. Brush the glaze onto the skewers and serve warm.
