Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by mixing all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
- Place the beef in a plastic bag and pour the marinade over it, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Adjust the oven rack and preheat the broiler.
- Transfer the marinated meat to a baking sheet and broil for 4 to 6 minutes per side until cooked to your liking.
- Let the meat rest before slicing.
- Mix all dressing ingredients in a bowl, adjusting the consistency with milk if necessary.
- Assemble the salad by placing romaine lettuce in a bowl and topping it with sliced carne asada, avocado, tomatoes, onion, and cotija cheese.
- Serve with the chipotle lime dressing.
