Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • lbs. Organic Valley Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and halved or quartered

The Seasoning and Toppings

  • 3 Tbsp. Organic Valley Butter or Ghee, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ cup Organic Valley Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 or 3 strips Organic Prairie bacon, roughly chopped and cooked to crisp

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF and prepare a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine Brussels sprouts with melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts cut side up on the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bacon pieces.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until tender and cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh chives and cracked black pepper if desired.
