Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Wearing gloves, remove the seeds and ribs from the jalapeños.
- Place the peppers cut side up on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, 4 slices of chopped bacon, green onions, cilantro, garlic, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Stuff the jalapeno halves with the cheese mixture.
- In another bowl, mix panko, chili powder, salt, and olive oil until coated.
- Sprinkle the panko mixture over each stuffed pepper.
- Bake for 14 to 18 minutes until the peppers are tender and cheese is melted.
- Garnish with remaining bacon and green onions, then serve warm.
